Hi, My name is John, and I live and work from my recently converted studio in Navan in Co.Meath, Ireland.. Originally from Co.Wicklow, which is known all over the world as the garden of Ireland, I have a great fondness for the outdoors. I am seldom home in fact, and if im truthful, im probably happiest when im up to my knees in the proverbial. I have immense experience in numerous aspects of photography and have recently completed a very intensive home study diploma. I have a great deal of experience working with both local and national media. I have won accreditations both at home, at national level, and in the American surreal portraiture awards. I find the countryside very interesting, and will often spend hours sitting around watching the antics of everything around me. I don't have any real preferences when it comes to photography, though I do like to work in the dark, city lights and sunsets produce unimaginable colors which I find very satisfying to photograph. People and expressions too, everything really. I have traveled quite extensively and enjoy being on the move. New places are like a drug to me, and I do love the addiction. I find lately that I am demanding more from myself as a photographer, therefore naturally I will be demanding more from my subjects. With that said, and with regard to (TFP/CD) I will still on occasion do a shoot on these terms, but only if I feel that it will enhance my own portfolio. I will take on (professional) models for paid work but again, on my terms, and there will be no further discussions about costs etc after a deal is done......John
